This course provides the theoretical and practical knowledge for the operators involved in the joints welding of polyethylene pipes. The program also is a prerequisite for drawing up the "Declaration of Conformity" according to the requirements of the Italian Legislative Decree n° 37/08 and following modifications.

The course is related to the welder qualification for the class 3PE 3.4 + 3.5 (welding process with contact heating elements of butt joints of pipes and/or fittings with external diameter larger than 315 mm) + 3PE 3.4 + 3.5 + 3.6 + 3.7 + 3.8 (welding process of electrofusion of joints, pipes and/or fittings with any dimension of external diameter).

At the end of the course the candidate will receive a certificate of attendance: furthermore, students can apply for UNI 9737 welder certification.

The Welding Coordinator is a professional expert in welding also dedicated to the inspection activities. His main task is to facilitate the operation of the processes for the compliance with the established minimum requirements without overlapping the welders/operators who are executors of the processes and of non-destructive testing. The purpose of the proposed courses is to provide specialized training for professionals responsible for the activities of Welding Coordination (RWC) in accordance with EN 1090-2 § 7.4.3 and EN ISO 14731 § 6.1 and § 6.2 and with reference to the recommendations for technical knowledge in welding as defined in EN ISO 14731 Annex A. The program is structured to examine all the typical activities and tasks that can be covered by the Welding Coordinator including the correct management of processes related to Quality Management Systems in welding, according to the series of standards ISO 3834 and EN 1090.

The course is conducted in online mode with the support of qualified university professors, in partnership with an EN 1090-1 Notified Body and a recognized professional qualification awarding body. The delegates who attend the entire duration of the course will receive a certificate of attendance and those who will successfully pass the course exams will receive a certificate of competence in Welding Coordinator (Standard Level).

The Welding Inspector training program is tailored to meet industry requirements for welding inspection personnel involved in the fabrication, petrochemical, refinery, process plant, power generation, construction and other industries. Qualification as a welding inspector is an ideal platform to build a career as a third party inspector or to progress further as a technical expert or manager of an inspection function. The Welding Inspector course is designed to equip an inspector to conduct basic inspections, to identify welding defects and witness and validate welder qualification tests. Students obtain a useful qualification which allows them to gain employment.
